4 If you're shopping for wines, don't miss N'Ombra de Vin, which has an incredible selection.
5 If you want designer fashion but don't want to pay the hefty prices, look at the Mercato del Sabato on Viale Papininao, where you can find designer apparel at bargain prices.
6 Milan has an abundance of quality food shops. One of the best is Peck, which has been operating since the late 1800s.
7 Keep in mind that many of the shops in Milan close for a couple of hours at midday.
8 If you need to hail a taxi in Milan, keep in mind that the official ones are white.
9 There is a lot of traffic in Milan, and it's not an overly pedestrian-friendly city, so be careful when you're walking.
10 Even if Prada and Chanel are outside your budget, strolling through the Fashion District can still be a great way to spend an afternoon.
