2 Catch a bus to the Gunung Ledang, the most climbed mountain in Malaysia. There are lovely waterfalls to go swimming.
3 Ever so often, the police check for illegal immigrants so it's best to carry your ID along.
4 Do not miss the Malacca Day Tour which showcases the rich heritage of the city.
5 A 'Famosa Theme loaded with parks, rides and golfing for the entire family.
6 Friday through Sunday is usually when Malacca is abuzz with acitivity.
7 On weeknights, only a handful of restaurants open beyond 7 pm in Chinatown.
8 It is very quiet on weeknights in Malacca.
9 Local bus service from Hang Tuah Mall to Sentral costs RM1.
10 The two bus services are pretty cheap and you have to pay the fare to a conductor. It's fun to try. It's RM2 per person on the Panorama Melaka bus from Sentral at 7am to 8:30 pm for the blue line and 9am to 9:30 pm for the red line.
