2 Unlike Chinese or Japanese, Korean writing can be learnt in a matter of hours. Take a quick online crash course before your trip, and you will feel a lot less lost!
3 One of the biggest events in the year is the Busan International Film Festival. It was first held in 1996 and now more than 200.000 people attend it every year.
4 If you want a real hotel for the night call Busan Lotte Hotel. They speak great English and the service top quality. Be sure not to miss their great breakfast.
5 As a modern metropolis, Busan has countless hotels, but if you cannot pick try Elysee Motel. It is always a good last minute choice.
6 Finding budget accommodation in Busan is not a challenge, as hotel and hostel prices are one of the lowest in the region. Try “Blue Backpackers Hostel” if you need a fun place to stay!
7 The bath culture is big in Korea, just look for “Spa Land”, if you want to relax. It is a harmonious place and they are relatively cheap.
8 The Seokbulsa Temple is a hermitage carved into rock. If you are interested in Buddhism make sure you not miss this one!
9 Feel like hiking? Climb the Geumjeon Mountain and you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the city.
10 Busan is a pumping metropolis and almost all Koreans love dance clubs, you will find great places anywhere. Look for Vinyl Underground, and do not be afraid of kpop!
